Green Savings on power bills

How would you like to pay just £200 per year for your gas and electricity?
Well, that's just what a local Green Party member is spending per year on fuel (£600 p.a offset by £400 FITS payments) after having exterior solid wall insulation, solar water heating and 6 x 210 Watt solar-PV panels installed.
The house, a three bed semi, also has double glazing throughout and a south facing conservatory adjoining the south facing lounge. The downstairs is constantly heated, by day, to over 20c. There is plenty of hot water, a computer and a nice big TV.
With the average annual fuel bills standing at £1,420 per year according to ofgem, this proves that the technology is there to reduce fuel bills and help the environment while not scrimping on creature comforts!
